Pluto as Healer or The End of The World as We Know It

by Sherry Wells

Tonight at 10:44 p.m. EST, Pluto ruler of Scorpio, not so quietly slips into the sign of Capricorn, the CEO of the zodiac. He has been shedding his Sagittarius costume for a few months while waiting for the custom-tailored gray flannel suit he'll be wearing the next 15 years.

He's already rattling cages in the sign that rules Big Government and structures of all kinds. The yo-yo stock market and the crash of the housing market are but two examples of his new job. The bridge collapse in Minneapolis last summer is another hint of the regeneration he brings to consciousness in Capricorn.

Everywhere we turn, we see soul sickness - political lies, waste and destruction, global warming, our sisters and brothers of the animal and plant kingdoms being irrevocably destroyed and people starving in third world countries. It's a sad time for caring people who know that We Are All One.

Pluto is Lord of the Underworld. In Greece, he was called Hades. It's his job to take us to the bottom of Hell, stripping away every shred of ego so that we can rebirth ourselves. He's the detective working in the dark, the surgeon expunging a tumor.

As Pluto ever-so-slowly makes his way through Capricorn, there's great comfort in knowing his mission is to transform governments and other large, rotting institutions.

As the Green Generation, the Pluto in Virgos (people born between 1957 and 1971) move into power, we can expect to see them diligently working to heal the planet. They have now come of age and are filling positions of power around the globe.

As we experience the destruction of the old ways and Business As Usual, fear not! It’s simply the energy of the little dwarf planet working overtime to make a better world for us now and the seven generations to come.
